Spring 2008 CISA Review Program

The ISACA Chicago Chapter is pleased to offer a program of CISA review classes for the June 2008 CISA exam.

The review program has been developed to meet the needs of both novice and experienced technology auditors who wish to sit for the CISA exam, and for non-technology auditors who want to "brush up" on technology audit technique. Instructors chosen to teach the particular subject matter (domains) have both expert knowledge of the applicable topic, and proven instructional abilities. Study materials have been developed by ISACA and are informative and user-friendly. Courses utilize official ISACA presentations and study materials, and include both conceptual review and practice examinations.

The review program is an excellent way to enhance your CISA exam study experience and increase your chances of passing the CISA exam. Historically, pass rates for students who have taken the CISA review classes have been much higher than average. Plus, the class is a good way to network with peers and gain exposure to auxiliary and supplemental materials.

We will again be using the facilities of Oakton Community College's Institute for Business and Professional Development at 1600 E. Golf Road in Des Plaines, Illinois (Building “D”- lower level). Sessions will be held from 8:00 AM to 12:15 PM on Saturday mornings in March, April, and May. A Continental buffet breakfast will be served before each class.

The CLASS cost is $ 300.00 and the MATERIALS cost is $ 280.00.

The materials include the 2008 CISA Review Manual, English Edition and the CISA Practice Question Database V7 English Edition. These materials are the same 2008 materials as sold on the ISACA website, so if you already have the materials, you do NOT need to buy them again. However, it is mandatory that you have the materials in order to take the class.

Registration for the class is simple and you can register for the class in one of two (2) ways.

Payment for the CISA Review Program may be paid using either method through March 10, 2008, but checks must be received by March 10, 2008.

Please note: The Chicago Chapter’s PO Box is checked 2 or 3 times per week, but it will take longer for your registration to be processed via check than via Paypal. For this reason, payment via Paypal is highly recommended if possible.

No refunds for cancellation will be made beyond the date of March 10, 2008

Registration for the class is now open and while this notice is available, space is available. When space is full, this notice will be changed and registrations will no longer be accepted. Send in your registration while space remains open. ISACA-Chicago reserves the right to cancel the class & refund payments if a minimum number of participants are not registered by 3/10/08.

However, this class almost always FILLS TO CAPACITY. We have sold out all review classes for the past few years, so it is likely we will fill this class and close registration early. Please do not delay if you are interested in attending !
